I believe exploring and interacting with the world around us is the first and most important part about being human, next being imagination. But what would any of it be without playfulness and wonder? My work strives to collide all of those aspects into larger than life experiences. I love to explore new materials, mediums, and ways to immerse participants, young and old, into a world of interactivity and play. Another main focus of my pieces are some forms of light play. Whether that be actual lighting, or a trick of reflection and dichroic films, light is the way most interactive with the world. In a world full of so much seriousness, I strive to bring as much light and joy as I can, in the biggest form I can.
